I am a proponent for education and business development, it is easy to see that technology was once in our backyards and now it is miles ahead. I would love to speak about continuing education, its role in our global business environment, and how we can enhance our careers and stay competitive in these job markets. We are now a part of globalization more than ever. The job markets are fierce and competition is even deadlier. I say education is the solution. “Education is power” as the old adage said.Globalization brings people together. Transportation, communication, and technology have advanced as fast as APPLE computers. Companies are expanding their trades globally with a click of a button on cell phones. We can chat with employees from Albuquerque to Astana within milliseconds. Technology and globalization brings people together, and at a lower cost to companies. Globalization increases the job market, and thus decreases wages and increases profit. Companies are running to different countries, often third world countries, where they can hire employees and pay them half the price they would in more economically advanced countries. Yes, globalization enhances competition but we can counter by focusing on continuing education. Education makes us competitive. We are no longer big fish in a small pond; we are small fish in an ocean. Education makes us competitive. We need to focus on education to further our careers. 347 709 5861
